A delicious medium roast coffee from Nicaragua, which is both sustainably and organically grown. This delicious variety is also available as filter and plunger coffee, with the same fantastic notes of honey, chocolate and blood orange.  

This variant is made with freshly roasted whole coffee beans , so you can use the coffee for both filter coffee, plunger coffee and espresso machines.

You are looking for a lovely creamy medium roast coffee with a delicious body. The coffee has a low balanced fruit acid and is both sustainable and organic (A rarity). Choose this coffee if you are looking for a coffee with a good play between the notes that go hand in hand with the coffee's profile. 

The story behind Nicaragua's eco

The Madriz region is not that big a region, but it is the heart of Nicaragua's coffee production and therefore has absolutely optimal conditions for growing coffee. This is due to the high altitude, with mountain ranges crossing the region. Several rivers such as Tapacalï, Inalí, Yarí, Estelí and Segovía are incredibly important water supplies for the region. 

The Procafe cooperative started back in 2001 in the town of San Juan del Río Coco in the Madriz region. The cooperative consists of 70 female owner farmers and 124 male owner farmers. They have come together to ensure better opportunities for small farmers to get a good price for their coffee on international markets. 

The sale of coffee from the cooperative is used to provide technical advice, quality control, certification of coffee farms, protection of local fauna, coffee harvest rotation programs, construction of water mills for washing coffee beans, free medical assistance for members and educational programs. 

The beans are suitable for use in all machines.

The beans can be used in all espresso machines such as: Siemens, Jura, Nivona, Philips, Nespresso, Delonghi, Smeg, Melitta and many more.
